The EMPATHY Campaign over the duration on 4 years, would have public events on different thematic areas targeting various strata of the society and professions, such as students, journalists, lawyers, etc. These events would be organized on dates relevant to the essence of the campaign, such as World hepatitis day, World Liver Day, etc. Organized at the strategic locations, such as Stadiums, Hotels, Convention centers to maximize visibility and participation. These events would serve as tools for dissemination of key project messages to the general population and policy makers. Attempts would be made to ensure participation of celebrities and/or prominent personalities with large following to maximize participation and media impact.
Such events would draw public attention to the cause of Empowering People against Hepatitis and develop better understanding on the challenges faced by people affected by Hepatitis B &C. Implementation of these events, would be undertaken through the support of professional event management agencies.
