It can be transmitted through:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>body fluids<\/li>\n<li>blood<\/li>\n<li>birth (from mother to her newborn)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What are the symptoms of Hepatitis D?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Jaundice (yellow color in the skin or the eyes)<\/li>\n<li>Joint Pain<\/li>\n<li>Abdominal Pain<\/li>\n<li>Vomiting<\/li>\n<li>Loss of appetite<\/li>\n<li>Dark urine<\/li>\n<li>Fatigue<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Who is at risk for hepatitis D?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You are at an increased risk of getting hepatitis D if you:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>have hepatitis B<\/li>\n<li>are a man who has sex with other men<\/li>\n<li>often receive blood transfusions<\/li>\n<li>use injectable or intravenous (IV) drugs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How is Hepatitis D treated?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There are no known treatments for acute or chronic hepatitis D.<\/p>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/theempathycampaign.com\/hepatitis-d\/\"><\/a>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Skip to content What is hepatitis D?
